1. Answer the following question in about 600 words:

Discuss the role and importance of Intuition and Logic in mathematical thinking with suitable examples.

OR

Discuss the nature and importance of Heuristic or Discovery method of teaching mathematics.

2. Answer the following question in about 600 words:

Identify the main teaching points, formulate corresponding objectives in behavioral terms and explain the teaching - learning process that you will follow while teaching any one of the following topics at secondary level.

(a) Remainder theorem
(b) Similarity of triangles

3. Write short notes on any four of the following in about 150 words each:

(a) Prime Factorization

(b) Percentage
(c) Volume of Prisms
(d) Trigonometric Ratios
(e) Relations and Functions
(f) Flow chart

4. Answer the following question in about 600 words:
