1. Answer the following question in about 600 words:

What are processing skills and integrated skills? Discuss their importance in our lives.

What should be the objectives of teaching science to secondary classes in India in the present era?

2. Answer the following question in about 600 words:

Identify the main teaching points, formulate the corresponding objectives and explain the teaching - learning process that you will follow while teaching any one of the following topics at secondary level:

(a) Law of Conservation of Momentum

(b) Our Solar System

3. Write brief notes on any four of the following in about 150 words each:

(a) Project method

(b) Laboratory work

(c) Blue - print

(d) Monitoring of learner's progress

(e) Food Adulteration

(f) Teaching of 'cell division'

4. Answer the following question in about 600 words:

Why are people not satisfied by the teaching-learning of science in our secondary schools? What should be done to improve the situation? Give specific examples in support of your answer.
