WORKSHOP ON EFFECTIVE TEACHING SKILLS
Meeree Peeri Career Academy, Ambala (Regional Center of Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar) organized a workshop on “Effective Teaching Skills” on 12th August at the Kingfisher Tourist Complex, Ambala under the able guidance of its Directors Mr. M.S. Sodhi and Mr. Inderpal Singh Sodhi. Eminent teaching faculties Dr. Manoj Kumar Saxena, Associate Professor Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Dharamshala and Dr. Suresh Aggarwal, Assistant Professor, M.M. College of Education, Mullana (Ambala) delivered the lecture and discussed about new techniques and methods for making teaching-learning process more interactive and interesting. More than 50 participants from different learning centers of Haryana participated in the workshop. A competition was organized after successful completion of the workshop on the same topic in which delegates from different centres participated. 1st prize was awarded to Dr Arvind Singh of Microtech Institute of Paramedical Sciences, Panchkula, 2nd Prize to Mr. Pankaj of Allied Institute of Hotel Management, Panchkula and 3rd Prize to Dr. Ghosh of Ghosh Institute of Technology & Mgt., Gurgaon. The workshop was co-ordinated by CA. S.K. Khanna and vote of thanks was given by Mr. Jasbir Singh.
