University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), Panjab University (PU) would organize a One-Day Symposium on the theme “Emerging Trends in Pharmaceutical Sciences” on 6th February 2015.
The Symposium would provide an opportunity for the participants to hear from leaders in drug industry, academia, research, IPR, entrepreneurial ventures, regulatory affairs, and softskill management. Nearly 250 participants are registered for the Symposium while 80 are presenting their work in the poster session.
Conference Chair, Symposium 2015 and Chairman, UIPS, Professor Bhupinder S Bhoop informed that the Symposium would start at 9:30 AM at the Golden Jubilee Pharmaceutical Conference Hall in the PU Campus.
Dr Sanjit Singh Lamba, President, Eisai Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Vishakhapatnam would deliver the Key Note Address on “Emerging Trends in Pharmaceutical Industry”. PU Dean University Instructions, Professor A. K. Bhandari would preside over the function. Professor Bhupinder Singh Bhoop would deliver the welcome address.
The Symposium events will also encompass deliberations by the renowned resource persons.

Besides the expert talks, the symposium will also encompass the poster sessions demonstrating innovative research outcomes and futuristic pharma trends.
The lectures will be followed by the Valedictory Function where PU Emeritus Professor, Prof Harkishan Singh would deliver the Valedictory Lecture providing an overview on Pharmaceutical Research in India, followed by the prize distribution.
