Advertisement for the Post of JRF/SRF/RA :- Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College

Applications are invited on the plain paper for the post of JRF/SRF/RA for 10 months sanctioned  under adhoc Research Project “Role of soil Microbial Communities in the invasion success of Prosopis juliflora, an aggressive species” funded by the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR).

JRF candidates should have M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Botany/Environmental Sciences with minimum 55% marks after qualifying the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by CSIR or UGC. SRF candidates should have M.Sc. with minimum 60% marks and at least two years of post-M.Sc. research experience as evidence from fellowship/associateship and published papers in standard refereed journals. RA candidates should possess PhD or equivalent degree with at least two research papers in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journals.

Only one position is sanctioned by the CSIR. Either JRF or SRF or RA will be appointed as per guidelines of CSIR.

Candidates may submit their applications to the undersigned within 21 days from the date of the advertisement. Above post is until the tenure of the project.
