2)    Discuss Aggregate Production Planning and Capacity Planning and the various factors affecting both. Also discuss the importance of Production Planning and Control.

c.      Acceptance sampling techniques

4)    Discuss the concept and importance of Total Quality Management. What are its principles? How is it related to six sigma and quality circles?

5)    a)        What is ABC analysis?

b)        Discuss the importance of Work study, Method Study and Work measurement in Operation Management.

     6)   Discuss the different R’s of Purchasing Management. What points should be kept in mind while deciding a new vendor?

     7)   Derive an expression for Economic Order Quantity. Also find the total optimized costs and the optimized time interval between consecutive set-ups.
