Q1              Sketch a twiss drill and writ and briefly the following elements:
                   Lip angle
                   Helix angle
                   Chisel angle and
                   Point angle
                   Land width
                   Margin
                   Black taper and
                   Shank
Q2     a.       Sketch a single point cutting tool and show on it various tool elements and tool angles 7
b.       Discus various type of tools wears.

Q3     a.       Enumerate the various factors on which tool life depend.
b.       Explain the method of cutting gears by milling.

Q4     a.       How the milling cutter are classified.
b.       Draw a plain line cutter showing various design features.

Q5     a.       What is the six-point location principle? Explain it with the help of
                   Suitable sketches.
          b.       What purpose indexing jigs are used?

Q6     a.       Find the total pressure, dimensions of tools to produce a waster 5cm
                   outsider diameter with a 2.4 cm diameter hole from material 4mm thick
                   having  a shear of 360 N/mm2.
