1. Answer the following question in about 600 words.

Define idealism. What is the contribution of Idealism in Education? Discuss various roles of the teacher according to idealism.

Why is education essential for human life? Mention social functions of education. Also differentiate between schooling and education.

2. Answer the following question in about 600 words.

Media is playing an important role in present times. What are its educational functions? Discuss.

OR

Describe the main aspects of social structure of Indian Society. Does it affect the Education System? Elaborate your answer with suitable examples.

3. Write short notes on any five of the following in about 120 words each:

(i) Globalization and its impact on education

(ii) Factors affecting wastage and stagnation

(iii) Influence of Community on the school

(iv) Recommendations f the Acharya Ram Murti Committee on Examination system

(v) Inter-relationship between Education and Economy in Indian context

(viii) Shortcomings of the present Examination system.

4. Answer the following question in about 600 words.

Through your teaching experience you might have felt hindrances in the functioning of democracy in school. Suppose you were to teach the concept of 'Education for All', how would you make it possible? Prepare a report.
