ES-333: EDUCATIONAL EVALUATION

Time: 3 hours                                                                          Maximum Weightage : 70%

Note:

(i) All the four questions are compulsory.

(ii) All the questions carry equal weightage.

1 . Answer the following question in about 600 words.

Define evaluation and explain its need and importance, in teaching earning .process, with suitable illustrations.

OR

 Explain the purpose of prognosis and guidance, evaluation for diagnosis, with suitable examples.

2. Answer the following question in about 600 words.

Explain concept, types and use of 'Observation Technique', with suitable examples.

OR

Explain meaning and ways to estimate 'Reliability', with suitable examples.

3. Write short notes on any four of the following in about 150 words each :

(i) Inventories - concept, need and use

(ii) Grading - importance and types

(iii) Question Banks - need and importance

(vi) Remediation - meaning, need and steps involved in it

(v) Correlation - importance and use in evaluation

(vi) Teacher-made tests - need and importance

4. Answer the following question in about 600 words.

Select a topic in your teaching subject at secondary level and prepare a Blueprint for the test to be constructed on this topic, considering all the three domains of instructional objectives. Construct g objective test items i.e. three test items from each domain for the test.
