ES-333: EDUCATIONAL EVALUATION

1.  Answer the following question in about 600 words.

Define the terms Measurement, Assessment and Evaluation and establish relationship between them. Illustrate your answer with suitable examples.

Explain three domains of Instructional objectives and discuss their usefulness for testing students' achievement.

Explain the process involved in the use of “Protective Techniques” with suitable illustrations.

Explain the concept and types of validity with suitable examples.

3. Write short notes on any four of the following in about 150 words each:

(c)        Norm referenced and Criterion referenced test: Need and importance.

(d)        Normal Distribution/Probability curve: Concept and application.

(e)        Anecdotal Record: Significance and Maintenance

(f)        Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation: Concept, Need and Importance.

4. Answer the following question in about 600 words:

Select a unit/topic in your subject at secondary level and construct criterion referenced test having 15 items on the basis of prescribed steps for it. Mention each step while constructing the criterion referenced test.
