Note : (i) All the four questions are compulsory.
(ii) All the questions carry equal weightage.

1. Answer the following question in about 600 words :

Describe the situation of HIV/AIDs in India.

OR

Explain different stages in the development of HIV infection.

2. Answer the following question in about 600 words.

Explain misconceptions related to care, treatment and rehabilitation of HIV and AIDS patients.

OR

Explain various means of transmission of HIV through blood.

3. Write short notes on any four of the following in about 150 words each.

(a) Types of tests to detect Antibodies.
(b) Steps in Post-test counselling.
(c) Adolescent counselling about HIV.
(d) Precautions for preventing HIV and AIDS.
(e) Goals of HIV and AIDS Education.
(f) Components of continuum of care.

4. Answer the following question in about 600 words.


You as a teacher have organised group discussion among your students on the topic "Role of School, Community and Media for HIV and AIDS education". Prepare a report of essential points emerged during group discussion.
