:
Discuss the importance of teaching and learning of
science in secondary schools in contemporary India.
OR
What are the principles of constructing curriculum of
science for secondary classes ? Critically examine the present curriculum and
give your suggestions for improvement.
2. Answer the following question in about 600 words
:
Identify the main teaching points, formulate the corresponding
objectives and explain the teaching-learning process that you will follow while
teaching any one of the following topics at secondary level :
(a) Structure of atom
(b) Allotropes of carbon
3. Write brief notes on any four of the following in about
150 words each :
(a) Nature of science
(b) Problem solving approach
(c) Unit planning
(d) Importance of lesson planning
(e) Scientific attitude
(f) Teaching of 'Newton's Third Law of Motion
4. Answer the following question in about 600 words :
Discuss the importance of laboratory work in teaching-learning
of science. How will you develop scientific attitude in your students using the
laboratory properly ?
