1. Answer the following question in about 600 words:
What is scientific attitude? What are its essential characteristics?
How can it be developed in students through the teaching - learning of science in
our secondary schools?
OR
Explain the statement 'To learn science is to do science,
there is no other way of learning science'. In the light of the above
statement, examine the present system of teaching - learning of science in our
secondary schools. Suggest modifications for improving the situation.
2. Answer the following question in about 600 words:
Identify the main teaching points, formulate corresponding
objectives in behavioral terms and explain teaching - learning process that you
will follow while teaching any ONE
of the following topics at secondary level:
(u) Refraction of light
(b) Nitrogen cycle
3. Write notes on any five of the following in about 120
words each:
(a) Scientific method
(b) Need of a science laboratory
(c) Evaluation as a tool f or improving instruction

(u) Teaching of Electromagnetic Induction

(g) Teaching of Food-borne diseases

4. What are the objectives of Practical Examination in
Science subjects? To what extent they are being achieved in our secondary schools?
