Q.1 Write the correct answer from the given choices:-

(a) The working cycle of a four stroke engine is completed in the following number of revolutions of
      crank shaft: 1/2, 1, 2, 4, 8.

(b) In a diesel engine, fuel is ignited by:-
     spark, injected fuel, heat resulting from compressing the air that is supplied for combustion,       
     ignitor, combustion chamber.

(c) The calorific value of gaseous fuels is expressed in terms of:
KCal, KCal/Kg , KCal/m sq, KCal/m cube, all of the above.

(d) An engine indicator is used to determine the following:-
speed, temperature, volume of cylinder, m.e.p. and IHP, BHP

(e) The specific fuel consumption per BHP hour for a petrol engine is approximately—
0.15 kg, 0.2 kg, 0.25 kg, 0.3kg, 0.35kg.
