5. (a) Solve the following equation by matrix method:
x + y + z = 1
x + 2y + 3z = 6
x + 3y + 4z = 6.
b) The mean and standard deviation of a set of 100 observations were found to be 40 and 12 respectively. On checking it was found that two observations were wrongly taken as 23 and 15 instead of 43 and 18. Find the correct mean and SD.9+9
