UNIT-I

I. What is Naad ? Explain varieties of Naad by giving examples.
 

II. What do you know about That (PTC) Padhati of Pt. Bhatkhande? Explains its important features

V. Why is knowledge of Laya and Tal important in learning music ? Describe the terms. 

VI. Give life sketch and contributions of Pt. Vishnu Digambar Paluskar to Indian music.

UNIT-IV 

VII. Write in notation a Vilambit Khyal from your course with short description of Raga.
 

VIII. (A) Write in notation a Drut Khyal in Rag Kafi. :
(B) Write in notation Ektal in single and double layakaries.
