Explain the salient features of career-development among girls ? What are the problem of girls in career-development ? How can a teacher promote career-development among girls ?

Why is an above - average and below - average child, more apt to show behaviour problems ? Why should the teacher have knowledge of various types of behavioural problems ?
3. Answer any four of the following in about 150 words each :
(a) What is resistance in the context of counselling ?
(b) State major differences between counselling and instruction.
(c) Discuss any three major activities that can be carried out by the orientation service and pupil inventory service at secondary level.
(d) Distinguish between career pattern and career maturity.
(e) Explain any two limitations of groupguidance activities.
(f) Discuss major difficulties faced by girls in making vocational choices.
(g) Discuss the responsibilities of the main persons responsible in the formation of 'self concept'.
(h) What will be the consequences of over protection of parents towards the handicap individual ?

Locate a school in your locality which has guidance unit and prepare a report on the following points :
(a) Vocational awareness among students.
(b) Adjustment problems regarding school/home.
